Final Reflections

    1  Connecting my body with the stage   Yawen Chen In this class, I learned how to become one with the stage, to accept my authentic self, and to ignore others’ judgments.   I feel very happy! I met many new friends from different majors. I am truly grateful for the teacher’s soulful support—many of his words have had a profound impact on me. I especially enjoyed the conversations with the teacher when I arrived early.   I was very fortunate to have a recital this semester, which gave me the opportunity to apply what I learned: connecting my body with the stage, from breathing to touch and beyond.
